How to play Zombie Survival on PC (3 Easy Steps):
Survive the Zombie Apocalypse
VNG Game Studios, the game publisher, has released yet another zombie shooting game for fans who love this genre. It goes by the title Zombie Survival, and you can install the PC version as well to fully appreciate the realistic 3D graphics that bring it to life.
After a virus breaks out, much of humanity gets infected. As one of the last few survivors, you have no choice but to fight for survival or else meet a horrifying demise at the hands of the vicious zombies.
One day during rounds in the wasteland, you end up saving Scarlet from a zombie ambush. She is the daughter of Dr. Akasha, a researcher who is currently missing but believed to be alive and searching for a cure.
You will learn more about what happened through the dialogue scenes that play out with video captions as you go deeper into the campaign mode. Much of the game, though, is about heading into the dangerous city to scavenge for supplies. However, it won’t be a walk in the park. Armed with your rifle and a machete, you will encounter zombies that are hungry for humans. Shooting them all or slashing those who dare to get close is the only way to get away alive after running into these creatures.
Base Building Gameplay
Besides dealing with the zombie menace, you will also be involved in building your base of operations. However, it is not just a shelter that will offer a comfortable bed to sleep in at night after a long day of scavenging in the zombie wasteland. Your base will also provide key facilities that are essential for survival.
For instance, you start off with building the gas station, which produces the fuel that you need to attempt quests in the campaign mode. More facilities to build and upgrade will unlock as you progress through the game.
Use Powerful Weapons
Zombie Survival features a large collection of weapons that you can acquire with the cash that you win from completing quests. There are assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, machine guns, and more.
Using the firearms during gameplay is easy because all you have to do is aim and fire. On the other hand, you also have to hit the reload button each time you empty a magazine. It gets a little tricky since some of the rifles (especially the shotguns) have a small clip size that you have to keep reloading, which gives the zombies time to get closer to your location.
Eliminate Different Zombie Types
Another great feature that this game offers is the challenge of facing different kinds of zombies. The regular ones that gradually drag their feet toward you are easy to fend off. However, there are some tougher zombies that will keep you on the edge of your seat. For instance, The Explosive Hazmat boss blows up taking out others nearby, Spiters spew their saliva to attack from long range, and there are also some that charge toward you.
Tips & Tricks for Playing Zombie Survival on PC
Upgrade Your Weapons
As you go deeper into the city, the zombies get harder to beat. Consequently, you have to continually upgrade your weapons to have better odds of completing the tougher levels ahead. Gold bars will buy an instant weapon upgrade whereas cash and upgrade material will get you a regular enhancement. Performance increases when you upgrade a weapon because stats like power, damage, fire rate, clip size, reload time and crit damage get more points.
Take Advantage of Bonus Prizes
Completing quests gives you bonus rewards. Therefore, make sure to claim your progression prizes. There are also daily quests and achievement rewards. Check the conditions required to claim these bonuses and focus on accomplishing them to get more loot.
Take Out Zombie Hordes at Once
Sometimes you may be facing a swarm of zombies that seems to be getting close faster than you can reload or fire your gun. In such cases, it is smart to find ways of taking out multiple threats at once. For instance, you can hurl a grenade at the zombie crowd or target the infected one with blue skin, which tends to explode and emit area of effect (AoE) damage.
Restore HP After Injury
In conclusion, keep in mind that despite taking damage from zombies, you can heal even in the heat of battle. You will know when your health is getting low by looking at the upper portion on the left side of your screen. The figure displayed up there next to a heart icon indicates how much HP you have left. If you take damage, it will start to drop. Tapping the first aid kit at the bottom of your screen will restore HP. However, you have to collect the healing pack as a reward by completing quests. Since this consumable resource might not always be there, the best strategy is to avoid incurring damage at all costs.
