PvP WWE Game
WWE Undefeated by nWay Inc. gives wrestling fans a reason to smile with its fantastic features & unique gameplay. You can install it on PC as described in this post and start to fight against real players from all around the world in intense singles matches.
You will get a chance to dominate and defeat opponents on a global stage, all while playing as your favorite WWE superstars. Take part in dream matches with Hall of Famers like the Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, or The Rock. There are over a dozen superstars to choose from, including active legends like Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Kofi Kingston, and The Fiend, to name just a few.
One of the unique features about WWE Undefeated is that the matches feature card-based gameplay. You will build a deck that represents the collection of moves belonging to the superstars you choose to fight with from your roster.
During matches, players draw cards to unleash moves. Once you trigger a card, another one will replace it. Cards also come with a deployment cost deducted from the self-recharging energy bar at the bottom of your screen. As a result, fights require both strategy and timing to increase the odds of winning.
Generally, there are three types of cards that you get to use. The ones with an orange background trigger a grapple move. Despite being slow, they inflict heavy damage and can break an opponent’s defenses. Whenever competitors enter a grapple clash at the same time, the card with more energy will prevail.
Secondly, you can use the strike cards. They have a yellow background and help to unleash fast attacks. Although low on damage, strike cards can effectively disrupt an opponent who is on a roll.
Lastly, counter cards that feature a blue background are the ones that help to defend your wrestler against strikes.
Impressive Graphics & Animations
When it comes to the graphics, WWE undefeated does not disappoint. It is visually stunning and treats players to matches that take place in front of the Taj Mahal, at Shibuya Crossing, in Easter Island, among others interesting locations, instead of a drab wrestling ring.
The animation effects make the game even more fun to play. You can expect to bust your favorite superstar’s signature moves. The outrageous attacks come complete with over-the-top action and exaggerated poses.
Beginner Tips & Tricks for Playing WWE Undefeated on PC
• Practice Your Moves
Before delving into PvP fights, you might want to hone your skills in the practice mode. It is accessible from the deck section, where you will find the appropriate button to start training.
There are two ways to practice. You can either go up against an AI bot that fights back to get a feel of what real battles would be like or try out moves on a dummy opponent.
Whichever method of training you prefer, take your time to practice and try out all the different cards for different wrestlers in your roster. It will help you to be more prepared for the multiplayer battle mode that can get quite competitive.
• Keep Upgrading
To improve your game in WWE Undefeated, you must upgrade your superstars and cards.
Leveling up wrestlers boosts their stats such as health and finisher damage. The upgrade process will require cash and multiple copies of a particular superstar. On the other hand, leveling-up cards makes them more effective during fights.
As with superstars, you will require duplicate copies of a particular card and cash to upgrade it. Loot boxes earned after winning matches will provide you with resources in abundance.
• Use the Hype Function Wisely
As your wrestler takes damage or hits opponents, you will notice that there is a hype meter that continues to fill up on the bottom left portion of your screen. It glows when charged up, allowing you to unleash your superstar’s signature move.
Using the hype function wisely is essential because it goes to waste if you don’t. For instance, if you want to pull off a finisher move, you have to set up the conditions for it first. Let’s consider the Rock’s People’s Elbow for illustration purposes. It only works on opponents who are lying on the ground. Consequently, you may have to do a body slam first before hitting the hype button to unleash this signature move.
For some superstars, leaving the Hype meter charged up will lend them passive bonuses. Other wrestlers become more vulnerable instead, thus forcing you to use this skill immediately. Therefore, make sure to learn each character’s moves if you want to use the Hype function effectively.
• Claim Loot from Boxes
Each time you win a match, you get a box full of loot that unlocks after a few hours. It can have cards and battle bucks, which are both essential for upgrades. Keep in mind, though, that you only have a maximum of four box slots. Therefore, make sure to fill all of them before logging out. That way, you will have loot to claim when you log back into the game.
