How to play The Seven Deadly Sins on PC (3 Easy Steps):
Immersive Anime Fantasy RPG
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross follows the plot of the famous Japanese manga and Netflix anime series Nanatsu no Taizai. As a result, you can expect a lot of RPG gameplay in this mobile adaptation. Although Netmarble, the publisher, made this release for Android and iOS devices, it is still possiblbe to play The Seven Deadly Sins for PC with an emulator. After all, this is the best way to take full advantage of the immersive features that this game has to offer rather than restrict yourself to a tiny screen.
The story kicks off at the Boar Hat, Meliodas’ mobile tavern, which oddly enough, travels on the back of a giant green pig. You will be able to interact with NPCs by approaching them. Those that have an exclamation mark above their heads indicate someone with a quest to give.
However, the main draw of this game is the top-notch cutscenes. The subtitled conversations between characters tell the riveting story compellingly.
Apart from the primary campaign, there are also side and village quests. If you like to tackle things on your own without following a linear story, you can do that as well from the World Map.
Besides the RPG gameplay, there are lots of combat encounters in this game. And, as the story unfolds, you will gather up a team of heroes to battle through hordes of enemy mobs all in a bid to protect the Kingdom of Liones.
Unique Card Synthesis System
Fighting in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross takes place in a turn-based fashion. So, that means your heroes and enemies take one turn each to make a move.
In each battle, you will have a team of three warriors. The goal is to deplete your enemy’s HP and knock them out before they do the same to your heroes.
While all that sounds quite typical of turn-based RPGs, one thing that makes The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross unique is its skill synthesis system. Skills fall into three ranks, namely gold, silver, and bronze, in order of superiority. You can level up each ability to the next tier by combining two cards of the same rank.
Skilly synthesis works in a very uncomplicated and dynamic way whereby your heroes have a deck of skill cards arranged in a row at the bottom of the screen. To use a skill, you drag it onto the battlefield, and you only have three pulls in each turn. More abilities keep filling your deck of cards as you deploy attacks. As a result, the skills rearrange automatically every time after playing. Once two cards of the same tier are adjacent to one another, they will rank up automatically.
It is also possible to reposition the cards on your deck to come up with a more powerful skill, but by doing so, you lose one attack slot. Ultimately, it takes some smart strategy and efficient use of skills for you to defeat the enemies in this game.
Random Hero Draw
Completing some of the quests will reward you with new heroes. But, for the most part, recruitment requires players to roll the gacha by spending diamonds, the game’s premium currency.
The fighter draw features an epic cutscene, and you might end up getting one of the villains in the manga series to become your ally.
You will also be able to customize your heroes with new outfits. Although the costumes only enhance looks, others provide an advantage in battle, such as increased armor.
What’s more, you can equip your warriors with accessories like belts, bracelets, and so on. Some of the equipment may boost character stats such as HP, attack, and defense.
Tips & Tricks for Playing The Seven Deadly Sins on PC
Take Multi-Draw Options
The heroes in this game can belong to one of four rarities. Spending three diamonds will allow you to recruit one warrior from the fighter draw. It is not the best way to expand your roster because the hero draw is random. If you are lucky, you might get a high tier hero. However, it is a smart strategy to save up to 30-diamonds before you roll the gacha because this will guarantee you at least one SSR (super super rare) hero. What’s more, you get 11 draws, which means spending less of your precious diamonds for more heroes.
Maximize Your Diamond Collection
Another important tip to remember when playing this game is look for ways to gather as much diamonds as possible. After all, this is the game’s premium currency and it will come in handy when you want to recruit heroes.
There are a variety of ways to earn diamonds in the game. Firstly, you can get this premium currency by accomplishing specific goals listed in your achievements tab. Make sure to visit this section and focus on the challenges therein to fast-track your diamond grinding progress. Secondly, try getting more of this precious resource by finishing village quests and daily tasks. The former missions will even open up more stories to enrich your adventure.
Level Up Your Heroes
Although the heroes level up automatically as you use them in battle, you can also enhance manually. Enhancing characters in your roster is not free, though. It will cost you some gold and materials. However, your heroes get a significant boost in stats such as HP, defense, and attack points.
Unleash the Ultimate Move
Each hero in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross has an ultimate move. You can unleash it once the corresponding gauge fills up. Therefore, keep an eye on it just below the hero’s health bar. The ultimate skill is usually very powerful, so use it to decimate your foes.
Evolve Your Heroes
Your heroes can go from one rarity level to the next. However, you will require Grimoires and Evolution Pendants to do this. You can find these materials by completing the Fort Solgress and SP Dungeon quests.
