Kill Zombies to Survive
The Last of Plague Survivor is an action game that adds to the ever-growing list of zombie games. In this title from EasyTimes, you will try to survive a zombie plague that has ravaged through humanity. The game takes on a horror theme where you have to travel through dark alleys and other deserted environments in search of zombies. Your mission is to shoot zombies remotely or fight them face-to-face using melee weapons that you buy from the game’s store.
Killing zombies may be all you will be doing in this game, but every round feels and even looks different. That is because the game keeps gameplay varied at every turn. To start with, zombies come in different kinds. There are horror, police, nurse, and even dog zombies. You can also make your pick from several game modes like Guard, Limited Time Survival, and Sniper, to name a few. What’s more, players can choose from over 10 different locations, including neighborhoods, alleys, rooftops, etc. It is pretty much up to you to decide how you want to play. Even armor comes in several options. You can select Regular, Advanced, & Gold armor with 50%, 100%, and 200% increased health capabilities respectively, or go for Regular, Advanced, & Gold gloves that increase cash rewards by 30, 50, and 100 percent.
The best part, though, will be discovering the variety of weapons offered. With options including side arms, shotgun, combat knives, rifles, grenades, katana, crossbows, and more, there is a weapon for every situation in this game. Gear with amazing accuracy is great for targeting headshots. Other weapons rip through zombies with ease and are ideal when several zombies are coming at you. There a few guns with rapid firing range as well. And, as if that is not enough, you can also get your hands on long-range weapons. Equipment in this category can take zombies out from afar and take down multiple targets in one shot, all while inflicting great damage.
Easy FPS-Style controls
If you are used to playing FPS games, you will feel right at home with The Last of Plague Survivor. The game has a similar style of controls, where several buttons (with drawings depicting respective actions) are on one side of the screen. Featured is a fire button, reload button, and button for changing aim mode. These remain fixed on the screen permanently while more options for throwing a grenade, using medkits, deploying decoy dummy, and others appear as you advance in the game.
There are, however, no controls for moving. You remain fixed in one position as the undead come towards you to attack. Instead, the game presents the option of scrolling through the field of view to adjust crosshairs, which creates the illusion that you are zooming towards and away from the zombies.
Tips and Tricks for Playing The Last of Plague Survivor on PC
- Complete Daily Missions in Record Time
Missions in this game include everything from going into the zombie epicenter to entering an underground plaza where you must stop a group of zombies from working together. Sometimes the challenge is to single-handedly secure a zombie stronghold as you wait for reinforcements. There is also a certain number of zombies (7, 8, 10, 15, etc) you have to take down in a mission.
Some missions have a set time limit while others do not. Either way, you should try to complete the mission as fast as possible by shooting down zombies the instant you spot them. The faster you finish the task at hand, the more money and gold you win at the end of the round.
- Aim for Headshots
Another way to boost money/gold count at the end of a mission is to make as many headshots as possible. Doing so is as easy as zooming in on the zombie’s head and shooting once the crosshairs line up.
- Have Medkits on Standby
Medkits restore health points, allowing you to stay alive long enough to complete the mission. So, this should be the very first thing you buy with the currency earned from your first successful mission. It is essential to ensure you always have a few Medkits at your disposal all the time. Most especially when you choose to go the combat way or happen to be entering an area flooded with zombies.
- Reload Constantly
When using a gun of any kind to take down zombies, remember to reload constantly. Do not wait until the clip is empty because that can happen just when a zombie or several undead creatures are closing in on you. The good news is that there are a few danger-free moments in the game. For example, there is no danger right after you have taken down a group of zombies, when the undead are coming in from a corner, or when they are descending some stairs. Use these fleeting moments of peace to reload your gun.
- Take Advantage of Rewards
You can use several reward systems in this game to win a variety of gifts. The free spin, special discount on weapons, money, gold, armor, and other offers pop up regularly. Never pass up on these reward offers as they increase your chances of success in the game.
