Survival Zombie Apocalypse Sandbox Game
Tegra: Crafting and Building Survival Shooter belongs to the sub-genre of zombie apocalypse games that allow players to explore an open game world. It is a lot more fun when you can freely chart your way in any adventure rather than follow a more linear and structured style of play.
The story of this first-person survival shooter starts with an event that led to a magical cataclysm. As a result, the veil between different worlds ruptured, and now, mythical creatures and zombies keep entering your reality from the realm of Tegra.
There is no way to close the portals that keep opening up. The only way to survive is to fight the existential threat and prevent your world from being conquered. From the undead to boss monsters, you will fight against hoards of enemies in a survival game teeming with endless adventure.
Gather & Craft for Survival
A substantial part of the game involves collecting items from your surroundings that you can use to survive in the harsh world. For instance, if you want to build a campfire, you have to collect wood and some stones. In case you have some meat in your inventory, then be prepared to cook.
There are more than 150 recipes for crafting items. Every tool you want to build will require a certain amount of materials as specified in the crafting screen. What’s more, you will create various workbench stations at your base camp. Some help to create armory equipment and weapons, whereas others will serve as a medical table, furnace, and more.
On the other hand, you might stumble upon valuables that are ready to use. For instance, your survivor can gather flares, first-aid kits, survival bandages, energy drinks, ammunition, rifles, among other supplies left behind by people who fled or died during the zombie invasion.
Pick items off the ground and in crates while scavenging through abandoned mines, cars, work plants, and many other places. Your trusty AVEGA guide will let you know what to do and provide technical support as you gather and craft items.
Armed to Fight Zombies
When going up against zombies, you will always be carrying a weapon. It could be a shotgun, pistol, automatic rifle, or crossbow. Whatever you can get your hands on is better than nothing when facing zombie mobs and their boss masters.
Besides your default rifle, you can pick up more weapons from fallen AVEGA soldiers. You will have to make others from scratch, and the recipes to do that are available on the crafting screen.
Tips & Tricks for Playing Tegra Crafting & Building Survival Shooter on PC
• Speed Up Crafting
Whether it is crafting or cooking, any task that involves making something in the game of Tegra will take time. Depending on what you are creating, the process could last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. The good news is that you can speed up crafting tasks by watching a video advertisement. All you have to do is click the green button labeled ‘skip’ on the screen that pops up when crafting something.
• Get Loot from Fallen Survivors
While exploring your surroundings, you will encounter many slain survivors. Instead of feeling sorry for the poor fellows, use their demise to help you stay alive. The pockets of fallen survivors tend to have items they had on them before dying. You can get your hands on some useful loot by standing over their bodies. Remember to select valuable items and leave out what you do not need because you can only store so much.
• Make Item Carriage More Room
Your pockets & backpack have limited storage space. Fortunately, there are several ways to create extra room for storing more items. Initially, the game gives you a torn backpack. You can buy another one with a larger capacity.
Sometimes, you may find yourself unable to carry out a quest because space has run out of your inventory. To get the required materials for the task at hand, you can stash extra loot in chests located everywhere. Once you use up items for the current quest, you can then go back to the crates to recollect your loot.
• Teleport to Save Time
Teleporting from one location on the map to another is one of the fantastic features that this game has to offer. It is quite convenient to go straight back to base in an instant right after completing a quest. You save time and also spare yourself having to remember the way back or fight through possible hoards of zombies that might end you before getting to your destination.
Keep in mind, though, activating the teleport function requires you to set up AVEGA stations. Be it the Lighthouse, Big Farm, or the base of operations at Quiet Harbor, you will be sent back to any location you have set up teleporting a station.
You can also move goods using this function. All you have to do is create a cargo box where you can put your items and send them back to base.
• Replenish Health for Free
Besides consuming first aid kits, there is another way to restore your health. You can watch a short video ad, and your HP will get a boost. Using this option does not use up medkits, and it will come in handy when you have none. The best part is that you can restore health by streaming short ads even when you are in the middle of shooting at zombies.
