Are you into massively multiplayer role-playing games that offer a relaxed gameplay experience and endless auto-battling quests? If so, Starsurge Rising is one title that you may want to try.
It is somewhat similar to Loong Origin: Clash, the dark fantasy MMORPG from the same publisher. However, this release takes place in a different realm.
As the chosen one in the storyline, you rise to the occasion to assist natives of the land from evil forces wreaking havoc on everyone. During quests, your character explores the fantasy realm by approaching NPCs to take on missions. Along the way, you will battle endless evil creatures, boss beasts, and warriors that have aligned with the wrong side.
As you progress in the game, your player levels up, thus raking up battle power and experience. You will reap endless rewards over time and unlock plenty of features. There are mounts and wings to acquire, not to mention a companion and divine servant that will tag along to aid you in battle.
Multiple Classes & Character Customizations
Before embarking on your adventure in Starsurge Rising, the first step is selecting a character. There are four classes to choose from depending on the gender that you prefer.
Plumage and Lethal Shadow are the female classes. They both wield bows that double up as melee weapons.
On the other hand, you can choose the male characters. They include the Sword Immortal and lance-carrying Divinity General.
You can customize your chosen hero archetype with outfits along with all manner of accessories such as wristbands, headgear, boots, and armor. Thanks to a high drop rate, you will hardly run out of items for equipping your characters.
When it comes to the battle system, there is little to overwhelm players because combat is automated. Your characters have different skills depending on their class. These abilities cast automatically during battle and have a short cool-down effect.
You will unlock combat skills based on the player level. It is also possible to transform from your True Form into a spirit during battle to unleash more damage on formidable boss rivals.
Tips & Tricks for Playing Starsurge Rising on PC
• Claim Your Rewards
From the Benefits section, you can claim online rewards. These gifts depend on the amount of time you spend playing the game. For instance, you can receive prizes for spending 3, 10, 20, 40, and 60 minutes online. Alternatively, level-up gifts become available for claiming once your player reaches certain levels.
There is also a 7-day event icon on the home screen. It is slightly different from the 7-day login section, where rare items and other gifts are available for claiming every day for a week from when you first install the game. Instead, the 7-day event lets you launch missions to other realms, and upon completion, you will qualify for the rewards.
Lastly, don’t forget to claim your achievement rewards. These resources become available based on your progress in the daily quests, boss wars, clan missions, main story, EXP dungeon, social relationships, gear acquisition, refinement or equipping of wings, mount collection, exploration, and leveling-up both your divine servant and companion.
• Pay Attention to Mounts
You can upgrade mounts to increase their movement speed so that it becomes easier to get around the virtual world faster. Feeding these creatures with devil spirit fruit will also increase your battle power. What’s more, there are plenty of beast soul stats and skills to unlock as you level up your mounts.
• Refine Your Wings
Refining wings increase your character’s movement speed along with base stats like ATK, DEF, and HP. Your battle power will also get a boost. Refining wings consume feathers, which you can get as a reward by completing any of the endless quests that are in the game.
• Play Other Game Modes
Besides the main quests, you can play other game modes in the game. Once unlocked, make sure to play the Cave Adventure, Daily Divinity, Clan Banquet, and EXP pearl for tons of experience points so that your character can level up rapidly. The faster your growth, the more progress-based rewards that you unlock.
