How to play Pixel Battle Royale on PC (3 Easy Steps):
Be the Last One Standing
When you hear Pixel Battle Royale, you are probably picturing a simple fighting game featuring pixel blocks for players. While the graphics are indeed 3D pixilated blocks, this game is by no means simple. It has all the makings of an action-packed survival game. The setting is a hostile open-world filled with armed enemies. You drop into these environments, quite literally by jumping off a plane. With no weapon upon landing, your only way out will be to fight and become the last standing survivor. The fighting part is natural since you will be using weapons (pixel gun, rifle, mini-gun, grenade, rocket launcher, among others) as opposed to hand-to-hand combat.
Earn Your Weapons
Nothing comes easy in Pixel Battle Royale. You start with no supplies and have to earn everything by fighting. When you land after jumping off the plane, you must find a gun fast to fight your opponents. From there you will have to search for weapons around the area and loot from the opponents you take down to stock up your armory.
The other way to acquire weapons in the game is to buy them. Battles in the game occur in short periods of between 3 to 10 minutes depending on how fast you move. During this time, you are supposed to take down a certain number of opponents. The number starts at 3 and increases by 1 with every subsequent mission. You earn cash rewards with every completed task, which you can use to unlock weapons and add them to your arsenal. Game currency can also be used to upgrade your headgear and skin to minimize the effects shots have on you.
Choose Between Private & Online Play
Testing out your shooting skills solo is just one way to enjoy this game. You also have the option of joining friends online for some fierce real-time competition. When playing online, the battle takes place on a vast multiplayer arena where over 40 players go at each other in an epic battle. You and 3 of your friends will team up to face other players who will also be in squads of 4. The rules are simple. Shoot or blow up every player who is not on your side while collecting weapons and avoiding getting shot.
Tips and Tricks for Playing Pixel Battle Royale on PC
Perfect Your Landing
All levels of the game start with the act of jumping out of a plane with your character strapped to a parachute. The nosedive from the aircraft is automatic, but it is up to you to steer your player towards a suitable landing spot. If you do a poor job of this, you might land outside the game map or right next to an opponent and lose the mission before it even starts.
Master the Game’s Controls
The controls on this game are not hard, but they are many. So, you will have to learn all of them before you start playing. There are eight separate buttons, which activate Move, Zoom, Shoot, Jump, Crouch, Grenade, and Launcher actions. Also included is a view adjustment control, which you can tap and drag to get a 360o view around your immediate surroundings. All buttons have icons that depict the corresponding action.
If you are playing on your PC, things get even more complicated since you will be using the keyboard to control the game. For this purpose, controls are as follows:
- Arrow keys – Move
- Right mouse button – Aim
- Left mouse button – Shoot
- R key – Reload
- C key – Crouch
- Space bar – Jump
- Left Shift – Run
- F key – Interact with the game (i.e., pick up weapon, parachute, etc)
Aim for Headshots
Granted, this is a little easier said than done since you will be shooting at your opponents from a distance most of the time and some of them may be moving. All the same, try as much as possible to make headshots because it will be worth the trouble. It will increase your overall score at the end of the level.
Go in with a Plan
Possessing excellent shooting skills is essential in this game. In addition to that, you need to have a good strategy going into the battlefield. Lucky for you, the game makes this rather easy by posting a map of the area on the top right side of your screen. A green triangle represents your location on the map while opponents show up as small red dots. You can use the map to identify an area where opponents have hurdled up together, and then sneak up behind them guns blazing. Alternatively, you could turn to the game map as a guide to divide the area into sections, which you will then sweep through bit by bit. With a clearly labeled layout of the area at your disposal, you can quickly come up with more than one decent strategy for each level.
