Casual Idle Game with Myth-Style Elements
Magic Revenge：Casual IDLE RPG is an exciting strategy game that takes inspiration from several myths. The game dubs you as the ‘chosen one’ and drops you in an age where you conjure up mighty heroes. Your goal is to collect legendary heroes and fight for honor. Fights are against an array of monsters and enemies, including mythical characters such as Freya, Cleopatra, Musashi, Geralt, and others.
With over 100 characters to collect, Magic Revenge is progressive. You will start with a couple of heroes but will soon have an army to manage. The managing part merely requires you to upgrade your heroes and level up their skills to make them proficient in battle.
The game’s heroes fall into 6 factions, each representing specific skills (defense, attack, support, e.t.c). The heroes are further put into a star-ranking system which includes 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5-star heroes. The higher the star count, the more powerful a character is.
Typical Idle-style Auto-Battle System
Battles in Magic Revenge are frequent and effortless. Like all idle-style titles, this game features an auto-fight system that lets you reap the benefits of fights without actually putting in the work. Battle winnings, in this case, include experience, gold coins, armor, boots, summoning books, and other game goodies.
Before a fight, all your collected heroes appear at the bottom of the screen. To commence battle, you first need to tap on the avatars you want to take to war. For this, the game only allows taking a maximum of 6 heroes.
Your chosen heroes will take up residence on the battlefield over a 3-in-front and 3-at-the-back formation. From there, you only need to hit the START button, and the warring sides will alternate attacks automatically. The last team standing wins.
Formations are central to winning battles in this game. Matching classes and optimizing hero factions will increase the chances of victory. Having tankier units at the front is also a good strategy. You can adjust hero positions on the battlefield before a fight. Just slide any hero to whatever spot you want.
Game is Rich in Gameplay
Battles are just one aspect of play in Magic Revenge. The game has tons of exciting content awaiting your discovery. The game’s home screen contains all manner of icons, including Alliance War, Airship, Fuse Hero, Mercenary Guild, Wishing Fountain, Arena, Watch Land, Star Portal, and Campaign, to name a few. There are also plenty of side hassles to enjoy, including Limited, Cool, & monthly Events, Summer Party, Event Raid, Quests, and Achievement.
Every option offers something different to do in the game. You can go on raids, take on missions in the mercenary guild, launch offensives in the airship, or ascend to the top of the magic tower by conquering a series of non-stop challenges. The game also has a social platform where you can link up with friends and face off against bosses, share hearts, and perform a host of other tasks that will get you bonus rewards. Ultimately, it is up to you to play what you want. Progress, however, is made through the campaign mode, which consists of auto-battles.
Tips & Tricks for Playing Magic Revenge： Casual IDLE RPG on PC
• Travel through Campaign Mode
While there is a lot you can do in this game, you do not get to access all gameplay options at once. The various modes of play unlock at different levels of the game. For instance, the Wishing Fountain unlocks at lvl. 14, while Arena becomes available at lvl. 18. The gradual unlocking of play modes continues deep into the game with options such as Airship and Watch Land opening at levels 35 and 80, respectively.
To enjoy the game at its fullest, you will have to play through the campaign mode. Every completed battle takes you to the next level.
• Level up Between Fights
Magic Revenge offers the chance to level up in between battles. Never pass up this offer, as it allows you to skip through one or more levels. Remember, the further you progress, the more this game opens up.
• Upgrade Heroes Uniformly
Upgrades in Magic Revenge are done on an individual basis at the hero index. The respective hero gets a bump in hp, skill, weapon, and power with each upgrade. Making about 2 or more upgrades for each of your characters after every battle should be enough to keep you winning fights.
Upgrading multiple characters in one go will not be costly as you earn thousands of coins after every battle. There is also an extra chest of resources (including coins) you can claim between rounds of battle, not to mention the tons of reward bonuses that the game offers.
• Make Regular Summons
When it comes to summoning heroes, you have a few options. You can use a summoning book, fuse shards at the summoning altar, or use hearts from friends to summon powerful heroes. Summoning books and shards sometimes feature as part of battle rewards. You should use both items as soon as they become available. You can also dedicate a fraction of your coin and diamond earnings to buying summoning books.
Making frequent summons will increase your chances of getting 5-star heroes. It will also enable you to collect the 100 plus game characters much faster. Having numbers, in turn, will give you more options in terms of creating hero teams.
The great thing about this game is that none of your summons will be a waste. Duplicates can be traded for game goodies or put towards ascending your heroes.
