Immortal: Reborn on PC: Overview, Tips, Tricks, Free Download

AFK Idle RPG

If you are a big fan of Idle AFK RPGs, Immortal: Reborn is one interesting pick you might want to try. The game thrusts you into a world overrun by darkness. The situation has been bleak for centuries since the gods lost all their powers, ushering in a dark age. As a mortal hero, you will embark on an adventure to defeat evil and bring back the light.

Once you select a character, your quest to liberate the world will begin. For the most part, you will fight enemies on the world map. There are plenty of game modes to choose from, including the Treasury, PvP Arena, Boss Battles, Tower, and Trial.

After winning duels, you get rewards such as gold, silver coins, gems, scrolls, gear, and other items to help improve your character’s skills.

What’s more, your level, battle EXP, and hero’s age increase the more you play. However, your characters keep grinding for resources even after you exit the game. When you come back to play, you will be able to claim rewards that accumulated while you were offline.

Numerous Character Class Choices

Selecting a character is the first order of business in Immortal: Reborn. From the onset, there are seven main hero archetypes to choose from, namely Hunter, Officer, Civilian, Educator, Merchant, Orphan, and Nobility.

Later on, you will level up and unlock more intermediate as well as master class slots and be able to use more than one at a time.

Overall, there are over 40 character classes, each one offering a unique set of skills, weapons, and stats. As a result, the fun part of playing this game is when you get to mix-up a wide variety of skill combos to come up with winning battle strategies.

Card-Based Gameplay

When it comes to playing Immortal: Reborn, the action unfolds a bit differently from what most avid gamers would expect from an Idle battle RPG. The reason for that is because card-based mechanics are at the heart of this game. In other words, don’t expect to find 3D or 2D hero avatars fighting it out on the battlefields. Instead, the duels are more about outclassing opponents with strategic card moves.

After selecting a character, the game will head over to the combat screen. Here, the cards you have in your deck appear at the bottom, whereas those belonging to your opponent will be at the top of your screen.

Once you are familiar with the basic mechanics, this game is easy to play. Cards represent character skills and weapons, and they all have individual HP (hit points) indicated by a red circle with a value.

During battles, attacks unfold automatically after a short cool-down period. HP reduces whenever any side takes damage from skill and weapon assaults. The goal of the game is to reduce the hit points of your rival’s primary weapon to zero.

Tips & Tricks for Playing Immortal: Reborn on PC

• Experiment with Different Weapon Combos

The best way to discover strategies that win you battles is to experiment with different weapon and skill combos. By the time you reach level 30-35, you will have up to four skill slots. Together with your main weapon card, you can deploy two off-hand or secondary weapons, and they will unleash attacks in tandem.

From damage to attack speed and more, there are several attributes you have to weigh when equipping your character for battle. Therefore, any time you choose to swap gear, always make sure to check the stats.

Remember, always equip the best weapons and look out for rare gear that offers bonus effects and stats boosts.

• Upgrade Character Skills and Gear

Using normal, advanced, and master scrolls, you can upgrade your character skills and get a boost in stats. The Tavern offers plenty of them through bounty quests.

On the other hand, make sure to visit the box section from the home screen menus. Here, you can forge new weapons or upgrade and imbue your existing arsenal to have more power in battle.

• Play Quick Battles

As you are already aware, characters in Immortal: Reborn continue to grind for loot when you are not playing the game. Once you log back in, you can claim your offline rewards. However, there is a simple way to get up to 180-minute’s worth of idle loot while actively playing the game. Quick Battle quests make that possible. However, before attempting these quests, you will need to have enough slots in your backpack to accommodate the extra weapons, armor, and accessories.

• Dispose of Unwanted Gear

If you have duplicate or unwanted weapons, you can sell them to get gold, mithril (gear upgrade material), and other kinds of loot. This is also a simple way to create space in your backpack and be able to claim more quest rewards. Just make sure not to sell rare items, which usually have a blue highlight/background.

It is possible to create more room in your backpack too. Keep in mind, though, that this requires gems and some rare space crystals.
