Frontier Justice-Return to the Wild West for PC (Windows/Mac)

Wild West Themed Game

ONEMT is the team behind yet another fantastic strategy game, which takes us back to a time when cowboys, outlaws, bounty hunters, classic fast draw duels, and western saloons were prominent. It goes by the title Justice Frontier-Return to the Wild West. Although officially released for Android and iOS platforms, you can also install the game on your PC by following the simple steps in our post.

Justice Frontier has some great storytelling. Scenes unfold with voiceovers, subtitles, and wild west soundtracks. You start your adventure as the legendary Dead Eye Hoyt bounty hunter who arrives at Sunset, a small township ravaged by Frank Hatchet as well as Evan and his gang of criminals. Meanwhile, you take the sheriff’s job to hunt for these outlaws and get vengeance.

Base Building Game

You will discover plenty of characters as the story progresses. However, Justice Frontier-Return to the Wild West is a base-building game at its core. People from all over the world will be trying to build a base on a large map. Therefore, if you are not hunting criminals or wild animals to collect a bounty, you will be working on building the town. The goal is to make it thrive and survive raids from bandits as well as players who team up to form posses.

The town hall is the headquarters of your base, but construction will involve putting up all kinds of structures. For example, the barrier, outlook posts, trap-building fort, training barracks, among other buildings, will help to set up offense and defense assets for the town. You will also build production-oriented facilities like the lumber mill, iron mine, livestock farm, railway station, and more. These will provide lumber, food, and other supplies that are essential.

Research is a fundamental part of the game as well, so the lab is one of the key buildings in the town. It’s where you get to improve technology on defenses, resource production, and military tactics.

What’s more, you have to upgrade your buildings to increase each structure’s level. As you continue to level-up and construct, new facilities will unlock.

Troops, Heroes, and Boss Skills

Having a strong army is paramount in the world of Justice Frontier. You’ll need all the help you can get to fend off attackers. Therefore, a good chunk of your time will go toward training troops in the arsenals, stables, barracks, gunsmith, and drill ground buildings.

On the other hand, it is also possible to recruit heroes and assign different responsibilities. For example, some of them boost efficiency and productivity in buildings. Other heroes increase the speed of marching, training, healing, etc. You can also dispatch those who provide raid troops with more power.

Shards are what you need to summon and upgrade heroes. Alternatively, you can obtain them with tickets from the Waterin’ Hole, a popular drinking establishment in town. Additionally, there is an option to upgrade them with EXP scrolls, and you can boost their abilities with skill drugs. You will also find hero skill books very useful for research.

As the boss of your town, it is also necessary to keep increasing your power and leveling up. The higher your boss level, the more skill points you will receive. These will allow you to unlock new abilities.

There are three categories of boss skills, with each bestowing different bonus effects. For example, boss development skills improve your ability to quickly gather resources and develop the township. Secondly, boss skirmish or combat skills improve your ability to wage war. Lastly, you can also learn the assist skills.

Another feature in the game is boss customization. You can choose a male or female character, and there are lots of outfits to unlock. The new sheriff in town will also need to be well-armed. There are plenty of weapons to acquire, ranging from revolvers and shotguns to knives, rifles, and more.

Tips & Tricks for Playing Frontier Justice-Return to the Wild West on PC

  • Follow Through Chapter Quests

One of the unique features of Frontier Justice is that the game takes you through chapter quests. The objective at the top of the list will appear as a job reminder at the bottom left side of your screen. Clicking the exclamation mark beside it will pull up the full list of tasks that you need to accomplish before moving on to the next chapter.

It is essential to prioritize the chapter quests because each one comes with a reward. Keep in mind, though, that you can work on the tasks that appear in the checklist in any order. It is also possible that you may meet one of the requisites without even knowing. In this case, clicking the accomplished tasks on the checklist will allow you to obtain the reward.

Besides the prizes that you receive for completing chapter quests, you also get to level-up as well as get more EXP and power. Some of the game features depend on your level in the game. Therefore, any activity that helps to increase it is worth your time.

  • Join a Posse

Players in Frontier Justice can form a group and work together. This type of coalition is known as a posse. It is equivalent to guilds, factions, clans, or alliances, as seen in other online multiplayer games.

While you could try to play and enjoy the game all alone, it will be very challenging later on to survive with no one around to watch your back. Therefore, joining a pose is wise.

However, you should also pick an active one if you want to take advantage of the benefits that are exclusive to player groups. For instance, pose members can assist each other with construction, upgrades, research, and troops. As a result, it would be hard to benefit from such bonuses if you are in a posse with inactive players.

  • Collect Extra Rewards

In addition to the chapter quests, you can also take part in the primary and daily tasks. These side missions drop plenty of resources such as gold, EXP, shards, construction/training speed-ups, VIP points, sheriff tools, hero skill books, and more.

  • Play Time-Limited Events

Time-limited events tend to pop-up occasionally. When you see the green icon on the upper right portion of the screen pop-up, then it means there is one currently available. Tapping the icon will pull up the event calendar as well, allowing you to find out whether there are any upcoming promotions.

Keep an eye out for these missions and attempt them while they still last. Events will typically challenge you to carry out activities that you usually do as you play the game. However, some of the rewards that come from these events are exclusive.
