Tower Defense Game
Cookies TD is a fun tower defense game with a unique charm. In this game developed by PIXELCUBE STUDIOS, you set up towers at different sections of a maze. These stations will attack and destroy waves of evil cookies shaped like gingerbread men that keep advancing. You have to stop them from reaching the end of the maze at all costs to protect the secret recipe.
As you blow every last one of them to smithereens, your cookie tally accumulates. The more cookies you have, the better because they will help you to upgrade your various towers.
After each subsequent wave, it may seem like the sinister cookies start to spawn faster. However, the reality is that they come with more HP. That means the next group becomes harder to clear because each enemy will require extra multiple hits to destroy.
Strategic Idle Gameplay Mechanics
Cookies TD plays out like an idle game where you wait for the right moment to make tactical moves as your enemies grow increasingly powerful and expand in numbers.
Your towers fire automatically as long as the enemies are within range. So, you can relax, sit back idly, and watch the enemies get obliterated. However, you spend cookies to place new stations in the battle arena. If the enemies advance past a particular station, you will have no choice but to add another tower.
There are upgrades to help your attack stations and cope better with the evil cookies that keep getting increasingly tenacious with each passing wave.
You will also be able to deploy special units and use buffs of various kinds. For example, slowpoke is a wizard who reduces the speed of oncoming enemy cookies by a certain percentage.
The enemies can also deploy their own mutants and ninjas, which makes up for intense clashes that will push you to your wits’ end.
Deploy Wacky Tower Stations
The most fun part of Cookies TD is that you get to deploy some funny towers to fight the scourge of evil cookies. For example, the Chip Cannon rapid fires chocolate chips, while Ice Cream Catapults unleash dairy goodness that explodes and hit multiple enemies. From the Rolling Pin Launcher and Splashing Mixer to the Icing Gun and Gravity Scale, there are plenty of wicked tower stations to unlock in the game.
Tips & Tricks for Playing Cookies TD on PC
• Join the Cookie Club
One of the features that Cookie TD offers is the ability to join the cookie club. Members get exclusive access to unique tower pieces like the Flaming Teapot, among other enemy attack stations. Make sure to join the club because it will help you add more firepower to your arsenal.
• Keep Upgrading Towers
On occasion, upgrade options will pop-up at the bottom of your screen in real-time. For example, you can choose to spend rainbow cookies and supercharge the overwhelmed station. Another option is to buy a simple upgrade so that the upgraded tower can begin to inflict more damage.
Upgrade options pop-up for a brief period. As a result, make sure to take advantage of them before the chance slips away.
• Collect Your Rewards
As you level up, rewards become available for claiming. They include rainbow cookies, treasure chests, and other towers/stations. The prizes unlock once you reach specific milestone stages. Therefore, keep checking what goodies are available for you after raising your level.
There is also one free reward that you can get even without playing any level. It is called the login reward and runs for 30-days. So, keep loading the game at least once daily to claim it.
Other rewards to collect include a treasure chest that unlocks after every 5 hours, achievement prizes, and lump sums of rainbow cookies that become available once you reach levels 10 and 30.
• Don’t Quit
Sometimes the enemies become so overwhelming that the secret recipe gets stolen. When that happens, you can either retry take on that particular wave from scratch or request a short time rewind. The latter option would make sense if you were just about to defeat the last few enemies.
Quitting after the secret receipt gets stolen would take you back to the first wave. Some levels can have more than a dozen waves, so don’t quit even if those pesky cookies steal the secret recipe. Keep going to maintain your progress.
