Chrono Legacy: Strategy RPG comes from the same team that created epic hits like First Refuge Z, Ant Legion, and Survival at Gunpoint. As such, players can expect a full-fledged game with plenty of features.
In this release, players get thrust into a game plot that sets the stage for an unforgettable experience. The events in the game revolve around securing different artifacts that carry the spark of enlightenment.
The power in these enchanted relics created a rift in time. As a result, dark forces from the Chrono Pirates and Outsider Legion can travel back in time, and they are trying to get their hands on the relics to carry out nefarious schemes.
However, legends, generals, sages, oracles, and other prominent historical leaders will come together to save humanity. That’s where your role comes in as a summoner and battle tactician. You will lead elite squads of heroes to destroy evil forces in endless battles, which are richly rewarding.
Simple Combat System with Idle Mode
When it comes to the gameplay, Chrono Legacy is easy to master. During battles, the fighting goes on automatically, so you can sit back, relax, and watch until the end. However, you can tap on the avatars of your heroes to unleash their ultimate skills once they regenerate enough power.
Your heroes face waves of enemies, with battle missions culminating in a boss fight. Teams facing each other in duels take damage as they dish out attacks. To claim victory, your heroes must deplete the HP of their rivals until none of them are left standing.
The game also features an idle combat mode. That means there is no need for endless grinding because your heroes keep fighting even after you leave the game. Once you log back in, you can claim your AFK (away-from-keyboard) rewards and upgrade your teams before heading into battle stronger than ever.
Combat missions reward you with gold, diamonds, EXP drops, summon orders, and other rewards to help you grow and improve your heroes.
Summon Heroes & Build Your Base
Chrono Legacy: Strategy RPG doubles up as a hero collector as well. Throughout your journey, you will be able to collect a wide range of famous figures that come from various civilizations throughout history. Slay foes with Cleopatra, Alexander the Great, Joan of Arc, William Wallace, and many other legends.
You will be able to build your roster from a diverse collection of heroes. There are more than 90 to choose from, right from tier S to B.
Apart from the type of weapons, the class your chosen heroes belong to also affects their respective fighting styles. You will have six archetypes from which to choose. They include Tanks, Warriors, Mages, Assassins, Archers, and Support units.
Star ratings and rarity (legendary, epic, or elite) determine how good heroes are in combat. Chrono Legacy also features an affinity system where certain hero factions have an advantage over others.
You can use EXP drops and gold to upgrade the characters on your roster. This game also has a unique feature whereby you can transfer the level of any hero to another.
When you are not upgrading or leveling up your heroes, you can spend time building your base. It houses different structures that allow you to carry out various tasks in the game. For instance, the Altar of the Summoners Globe is where you recruit historical heroes for your squad. The energy hub is where you promote heroes, and you can spend diamonds at the Chrono store to buy exclusive items.
Tips & Tricks for Playing Chrono Legacy: Strategy RPG on PC
• Play Different Game Modes
Besides the chapter quests that uncover the plot, there are other game modes you can play in Chrono Legacy: Strategy RPG. For instance, you can climb the Progenitor Tower or challenge other players from all over the world in the PvP arena. Alternatively, go on a hunt for information at the Chrono Intel Center or set sails for epic adventures in the Heroic Expedition.
Playing other game modes allows you to gather more resources and test different hero formations. Therefore, ensure to take on various quests to improve your strategy and get more loot.
• Do x10 Summons
Instead of recruiting one hero at a time from the random gacha draw, go for the x10 summon as often as you can. Waiting to accumulate ten summoning orders will be worth your while because this pull guarantees at least one epic or better hero.
• Join an Alliance
Another tip to remember when playing this game is to join an alliance. Doing so will unlock extra benefits. For instance, you will be able to mine and invest in technology research once you team up with other players. Additionally, you will get extra loot by joining your allies on raid missions to plunder other clans in Exotica Invasion events.
• Position Your Heroes Strategically
Chrono Legacy: Strategy RPG will require you to think of clever battle tactics when choosing which spots to place your heroes. The formations you choose are essential to bagging the victory because different units will either be vulnerable or deal more damage depending on where you position them.
For instance, units like the mage and archer should always be in the back row or furthest grid on the battle board because they are weaker than their counterparts. On the other hand, tanks and warriors have more HP and excel on the frontline by shielding their teammates. Having a support unit that can heal and enhance the skills of other heroes in your squad is also vital.
