Walk Your Path in Choice-Based Game
BTS Universe Story is the second game from Netmarble that features the famous K-pop band Bangtan Boys (better known as BTS). With this game, Netmarble puts players through a series of top-quality fictional pre-made story adventures in a choice-based system. You go through stories done in typical graphic novel style and make choices occasionally, which will influence the outcome of a storyline.
As per game rules, you can only play as one of the band’s seven members in a given storyline. Despite that, all the boys’ fates intertwine. You will also encounter each and everyone through your journey in the game. For the most part, this game highlights youth problems and puts the characters through some tough times. As a result, this makes trying to achieve an outcome where your band member and his friends all end up happy, the real test of playing BTS Universe Story.
Create Your Own Stories
Do you have what it takes to be a published fanfiction author? With BTS Universe Story, you have a chance to find out through an included ‘Create Story’ mode. The creation process involves choosing a setting, selecting and arranging your cast members, and finally initiating dialogue as well as two choices at various stages of the story. While all this seems complicated, you have the backing of a fully-fledged editor function and great creation tools. With what you will have at your disposal, it is possible to set the scene. It only involves choosing from an array of locations, effects, and soundtracks before finally creating your customized character to add depth to your story.
One thing to note is that there are rules onto what the game does not allow as part of a storyline. So, make sure to go through the rules before embarking on this route of play. Just tap on a question mark on any part of the game. This action will lead you to a guide covering all aspects of the game. From there, find the ‘Creators’ tab, click on it and then select ‘Story Guidelines’.
Progress is Reliant on a Ticket System
For in-game currency, BTS Universe Story features tickets, coins, and jewels. While the latter two can buy you all manner of items (including premium themes, character accessories, and customization options such as unique gacha character outfits), tickets are what you need most.
Tickets make up your energy in this game. Every episode costs a ticket to play. That means you will not be able to play through storylines if you run out of this precious resource.
The game starts you with four tickets, which then regenerate automatically over time. It generally takes around 6 hours of play for another one to regenerate. Nonetheless, you can trade in coins for tickets instead of waiting for them to replenish naturally, allowing you to continue with play.
BTS Universe Story on PC: Tips & Tricks for Beginners
• Play Stories by other Players
BTS Universe Story is a heavily social game. You can publish your story episodes online, like the stories of other players, share screenshots of your favorite play moments, and even enjoy an Augmented Reality feature. While all of these activities add more fun to the game, there are strategic benefits to playing through the stories of other players. You will earn some gold with every chapter you complete and the bonus of getting achievement rewards down the road. You can also draw inspiration from top game stories and create an epic one of your own.
• Complete Achievements
This game sets a range of achievements with a reward of jewels, tickets, and a host of other play goodies waiting at the end of every completed achievement. Casually playing the game will lead to completing achievements as they feature tasks like complete 1 episode by a skilled creator, watch five roulette ads, or complete an episode 10 times. That said, if you know beforehand the expected achievements, you can actively set out to accomplish them and thus increase your resources in the game. At the top left corner of the game is the main menu. Tap on it and select Achievements to view your list of to-do objectives.
• Go with the Advanced Editor Version
When creating a story, the game offers two editor options. One is for beginners while the other would better suite pro gammers. We recommend that you skip over to the advanced version. It may be more complex and tougher to navigate, but it does offer more features in terms of settings and effects. In turn, this gives you more to work with in making your story a hit. Also, choose relevant keywords for episode titles to increase the likelihood of the chapter making its way to the game’s list of premium community stories. You will receive gifts based on the number of likes that your narratives receive.
• Check-in Daily
With gems being this game’s premium currency, any extra amount you can get is worth going for and will come in handy later on. One way to earn additional gems is to log in daily in the first days after downloading the game. You will obtain a generous 30 jewels every day when you log in without fail over the first 7-days.
