DryGin Studios have come up with yet another entertaining biomedical simulator, this time titled Bio Inc. Redemption – Plague and Cure Doctor. It comes with new features that provide players with more options to explore. You run various tests to identify which diseases your patient has, and once diagnosed, you then prescribe a cure. Administered treatments, eliminate a bunch of symptoms, allowing your patient to start recovering.
The death mode is the exact opposite. You pick diseases, evolve them to trigger complications, and ultimately try to terminate the patient.
Will you choose the dark side and be the plague or embrace life to preserve humanity? Find out by downloading this fantastic biomedical simulator. You can even install Bio. Inc Redemption on your PC by following the steps shared in this post.
Simple & Realistic Gameplay
If you have played previous releases in the series, then Bio. Inc Redemption will feel quite familiar. However, the game features easy mechanics that even a novice can pick up quickly.
Throughout the game, you will manage various biological aspects of your patient. These include the muscular, immune, renal, nervous, skeletal, digestive, respiratory, and circulatory systems.
To run tests, prescribe treatments, or trigger diseases, you have to harvest resources called bio points by holding the mouse pointer over viruses that appear randomly on the patient’s body. Once you have enough, you can spend them on the biomap. It indicates various primary diseases and tree charts of other sub-illnesses that they can cause.
Bio. Inc Redemption is quite realistic. You will have over 600 actual medical conditions, viruses, symptoms, diagnostic tests, and treatments to work with, creating plenty of scenarios to explore.
Great Audiovisual Effects
Another feature that makes this game quite captivating is the audiovisual quality. The graphics are not only stunning but surprisingly detailed, colorful, and realistic. As you play the game, there is always a 3D model of your patient. It showcases the various biological systems, complete with animations that make interactions with each subject feel real and vivid. The sound effects augment the experience more, thanks to audio cues that trigger whenever your patient develops a discomforting symptom or makes a lifestyle change.
Tips & Tricks for Playing Bio Inc. Redemption on PC
• Play Side Quests & Tournaments
According to the developers, players can join a contest every week. Accumulate a winning streak, and you will earn the coveted title of best Doctor of Medicine.
On the other hand, there are over 40 side quests besides the primary life/death campaigns. These extra missions and tournaments provide more rewards, so make sure to take part in them.
• Use Boosters
Before you begin to play your chosen game mode or campaign, you can activate various boosters. These bonus effects provide some advantage that affects diseases, bio point economy, lifestyles, intensive care, or the environment. For example, when you use these bonus effects in the life mode, they help you get more or higher value bio points. You have limited booster slots, and they cost experience points (XP) to activate, so spend wisely.
• Test Diseases with Most Shared Symptoms
As you play the game in life mode, you will get a list of symptoms that the patient is experiencing. When you click on any symptom, the biomap will suggest a variety of possible diseases. Those that appear to have the most shared signs are more likely to be what ails your patient. So, prioritize tests on such suspected conditions to avoid wasting your bio points.
• Go Beyond Medical Treatment
Apart from running diagnostic tests and prescribing treatments, you can also recommend lifestyle changes for your patients when playing life mode. These different mannerisms and habits could improve their health. They can be anything like aerobic exercise, strength training, moderate drinking, relaxation therapy, better sleep, diet changes, proper hydration, and so on.
In contrast, there are other measures you can put in place to make a patient’s condition worse when playing death mode. For instance, you can slow down recovery by making doctors & nurses strike, give the patient a phobia for hospitals, activate the “bad doctors” effect that slows down diagnosis by 50%, and so on. There are also risk factors you can trigger. For example, malnutrition, hereditary issues, or making the patient sedentary, overweight, a smoker, etc.,
