Baby Raising Simulator
Baby Manor is a fun and addictive casual game. It gives players a dose of different gaming genres all at once. One of the unique gameplay features it offers is taking on the role of raising an infant, which is the RPG element of the game.
After getting married to Sarah and being blessed with a bouncing baby boy, Bobby, the main protagonist of the game, decides to move the family to the mansion where he grew up. But, the grand house bequeathed to him by his great-grandma is old and needs a lot of patching up.
Sarah’s dad knows of the situation and will be visiting in two weeks. He has resolved to take grandson and daughter to his mansion if the living conditions do not improve by then. As a result, you must help Bobby to fix the house in the next two weeks to keep his family together, all while juggling between raising his newborn son and solving puzzles.
As you discover the fascinating story, Bobby will share some of his childhood memories. Additionally, plot twists and characters with intriguing personalities await you in this fantastic game.
Interior Décor Gameplay
Decorating the manor involves simple tasks like adding new furniture, laying down area rugs, changing the floor, and so on.
Interior décor items come in a wide range of designs, allowing you to show off a little bit of your tastes and preferences as you breathe new life into the manor. When it comes to the illustrations, the game’s 3D effects are quite captivating. Thanks to the animations, you will see firsthand rooms transform from messy and dull to looking stylish and refined.
When you first arrive at the manor, the baby nursery is among the first rooms to get a makeover. However, there are plenty of colorful rooms to explore and renovate in this expansive mansion.
Match 3 Puzzle Mini-Games
Besides being a home design simulator with RPG elements, Baby Manor doubles up as a match-3 puzzle game. To decorate the house, you will consume baby bottles. You also require coins to buy outfits, toys, and other items for Bobby’s adorable newborn. Puzzles are the only source of game currency, so you will be spending a lot of time-solving them.
Fortunately, solving puzzles is not only easy, but also fun. Once the board loads up, all you have to do is swap different shaped and colored pieces around to match at least three similar ones.
You will require some strategy because there are only a limited number of moves to make. What’s more, you collect matched pieces, and each level will challenge you to gather those of a particular color.
Puzzles become increasingly challenging as you progress in the game. At higher levels, you may have to break through carton tiles or free up teddy bears trapped in the water.
Tips & Tricks for Playing Baby Manor on PC
• Use Power-Ups to Solve Puzzles
Like any match-3 puzzle game, Baby Manor offers plenty of power-ups that you can use to break tiles or knock-off pieces from the board. The buffs that you will find at your disposal provide different effects. Firstly, you will get a horizontal or vertical rocket after matching four pieces of the same color in one line. Trigger it, and you will clear an entire row or column along the rocket’s path.
Secondly, matching four puzzle pieces to form a square creates the plane. When launched, it flies away, clearing a few tiles in the process.
Thirdly, matching pieces into an L or T-shape will create the bomb. Once this blows up, so will anything adjacent within a blast radius of one tile position all round.
Next, you can use the magic cube after matching five elements. When swapped with any puzzle piece, it will remove all other matching ones of the same color.
You can also save power-ups in the hopes that two of them will fall next to each other. Such combinations often trigger spectacular effects that can help you solve the puzzle with few moves. For instance, any other power-up that is next to the magic cube will be multiplied all over the grid.
• Use the To-Do-List Notebook
Between renovating the house, buying baby items, and taking on puzzle challenges, it can get quite confusing where to start when playing Baby Manor. If you are not sure what to do, follow the tasks listed in the to-do-list notebook. It is represented by an icon on the bottom left side of your screen.
• Avoid Skipping Story Scenes
On the top right side of the screen, there is a skip function for players who wish to get on with the game quickly. Tapping it will either take you right away to the puzzle or house design challenges. However, skipping through the scenes is not a good idea. That is because it dulls the gaming experience. You will have even more fun reading through the conversation subtitles. The plot is quite entertaining, and there are plenty of vivid characters to meet as the story unfolds.
